Police in Lilongwe have arrested 34-year-old Ellena Kaunda for allegedly killing an egg vendor during a dispute over an unpaid K800 debt.
According to reports, the victim, James Chioko, had demanded payment when an argument broke out. Kaunda allegedly struck him on the head with a wooden stick, leaving him with severe head injuries.
Chioko later died from the injuries, and Kaunda has since been taken into police custody as investigations continue.
