Police in Mangochi have arrested 31-year-old primary school teacher Davie Chunga for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old Standard 7 pupil.
Police say he allegedly lured the girl to his house after church, where the incident is said to have occurred.
He is also accused of giving her K10,000 to keep the matter secret before her parents reported the case to police.
